Teso Education Fund (TEF) in partnership with the African Youth Enterprise Programme (AYEP) at the University of Bristol, UK is implementing a 2-year project called TEF Young People Enterprenuership Development (YPED) project in Uganda.

The goal of the project is to contribute to improving the economic well-being of young people in the Teso sub-region of Uganda. To achieve its goal, the project has 4 objectives on training and mentoring young people in entrepreneurship and providing start-up capital.

The project is open to young people from Teso aspiring to be entrepreneurs who are 18-35 years old and residing in Teso for the 2-year project life. Female candidates and candidates with disability are encouraged to apply. Applicants should be able to attend training in Soroti.

TEF invites applications from eligible candidates from Teso in Uganda to apply for 50 places to be trained in entrepreneurship. The applicants can be existing or new enterpreneurs.

Applications will open on 5th February 2024 and close on 29th February 2024 at mid night Uganda Time. Successful applicants will be notified by 8th March 2024.

Instructions

Before you start, have the following ready to upload

1.    National identity card (must)

2.    Personal statement (must). In less than 200 words, tells why you want to attend the YPED training.
