Teso Education Fund (TEF) invites applications from young people from Teso who wish to be entered into a database of individuals looking for scholarships.

Applications are invited from individuals interested in studying professional certificate, diploma or degree courses in any discipline and institution of higher or vocational education in Uganda in the academic year 2025 and 2026.

This database will be put on the website of TEF; therefore, by submitting an application, you consent to personal information about you being published on the TEF website and other TEF media platforms. 

There are 2 scholarship schemes – TEF General Scholarship and TEF-UTAMU Shared Scholarship.

For those who are interested in studying at Uganda Technology and Management University (UTAMU) under shared scholarship, these are the eligible courses.

These are the roles and responsibilities of parties in the TEF-UTAMU shared scholarship.

TEF is a charity organisation registered in the UK and in Uganda. It exists to promote development through implementing projects in education, skills training, and education-related interventions in Teso in Uganda, in the UK and online.

The vision of TEF is a world in which all young people are well educated, skilled, and empowered to live their lives to their full potential.

The mission of TEF is to improve the wellbeing of underprivileged children, families, and communities in Teso through sustainable advancement of education and skills training, undertaking other development interventions and ensuring social inclusion in our work.

Instructions

Before you start completing the application, have the following items ready to upload:

1.      A brief statement of less than 300 words or less than half a page why you need a scholarship.

2.      Admission letter, if you have.

3.      Photo of yourself in JPEG or PNG format only.
