Leonard is from the Iyamatok sub clan, Irarak clan and comes from Serere district. He is a Telecommunications Engineer in the UK, specialising in Fibre Optics. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in International Business Management majoring in procurement attained in Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Leonard worked in The Netherlands for many years in different procurement and logistics positions, distributing electronic products throughout Europe.
He has a wealth of volunteer experience attained from working in different charity organisations in The Netherlands and in the UK. He has also been an active member in the Iteso Community.
Furthermore, Leonard, who is well known for being level-headed is extremely passionate about the Iteso, and the promotion of the Ateker, and the use of culture to attain sustainable development. He hopes to use his position to create partnerships with other communities to advance the culture of the Iteso.
