TEF SCHOLARSHIPS

Call for Applications – December 2020

Teso Education Fund (TEF) invites applications from eligible candidates from Teso to apply for 10 scholarships for diploma courses for the academic year 2021-2022. The scholarships are for courses offered in Uganda.

Applications open on 7th December 2020 and close on 15th January 2021 at 12:00 AM Uganda Time. Interview of shortlisted applicants will take place at the end of January 2021.

Successful applicants will be notified in February. If you do not hear from us by the end of February, consider your application unsuccessful. For enquiries, email us at [email protected].

Teso Education Fund (TEF) is a charity organisation promoting development through implementing projects in education, skills training, and education and training-related interventions in Teso in Uganda and Kenya and in the UK and online.

The vision of TEF is a world in which all young people are well educated, skilled and empowered to live their lives to their full potential.

The mission of TEF is to improve the wellbeing of underprivileged children, families, and communities in Teso through sustainable advancement of education and skills training, undertaking other development interventions and ensuring social inclusion.

Instructions

Before you start, have the following documents ready to upload

  1. National identity card (must)
  2. Education certificates (must)
  3. Letter of introduction from LC1 (must)
  4. Letter of admission or evidence of application (must)
  5. Photo (optional)
  6. Applicant for partial scholarships should attach evidence that they can meet part of the costs of their course (optional)
  7. Personal statement (optional). Tell us why you want a scholarship. Write about yourself, your family, your plans, and the course you want to study. Your statement should be 500 words or 1 page.
